Chicken korma recipe

Ingredients: 

 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 medium onions (200g), chopped

2 cloves garlic (6g), minced 

2 medium tomatoes (200g), diced

1 teaspoon (5g) ground cumin

1 teaspoon (5g) ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon (2g) ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon (2g) ground cardamom

 1/4 teaspoon (1g) ground cayenne pepper (optional)

 1/2 teaspoon (2g) salt

1/4 teaspoon (1g) black pepper

2 tablespoons (30g) ghee or vegetable oil

2 tablespoons (30g) plain yogurt

1 tablespoon (15g) lemon juice

1 cup (250ml) chicken broth

Chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)


Instructions:


1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

2. Add onions and cook until lightly browned (5-7 minutes).

3. Add garlic, ginger paste, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

4. Add chicken and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).

5. Add tomatoes, yogurt, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

6. Garnish with cilantro.
